Friendly, straightforward accountancy from an experienced accountant
Freedom Financials is run by me, Esther Guy, a qualified and experienced accountant with more than 15 years’ experience running an accountancy practice and supporting small businesses.
Over the years, I’ve worked with limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, landlords and individuals, across everything from annual accounts and tax returns to VAT, CIS, payroll, bookkeeping and business systems.
What I’ve learned is that most people don’t need more accountancy jargon - they need someone who can explain what’s happening, what they need to do and why.
That’s what Freedom Financials is about.
Accountancy explained properly
I believe clients should feel comfortable asking questions, even if they think they “should already know” the answer.
So whether you need your annual accounts taken care of, help getting ready for Making Tax Digital, support with VAT, CIS or payroll, or simply someone to explain something in plain English, you’ll get practical advice without unnecessary complication.
I use technology where it genuinely makes things easier and work with the main bookkeeping platforms including Xero, FreeAgent, QuickBooks and Sage.
A personal service
Freedom Financials is deliberately small.
You won’t be passed between departments or have to explain your business to someone new every time you get in touch.
You’ll deal directly with me, and I’ll get to know your business, your systems and the way you prefer to work.
Sometimes you may simply need a quick answer. Sometimes you’ll want me to take responsibility for the whole process.
Either way, the aim is the same: to keep your accounts and tax under control and make the whole thing feel much easier to manage.

Once I understand what support you need, I’ll provide a clear quote and explain exactly what is included.
Where possible, ongoing services are provided for an agreed fixed fee so you know what you’ll be paying.
